Lau Legal a boutique law firm specialising in wills, trusts, and estates, engaged Handle Branding at the early stages of their journey for a branding exercise. While the firm offered deep expertise and personalised service, there was no current brand identity, visual and creative direction or tone of voice. It was important for Handle to create an identity that reflected their professionalism and the compassionate way they support clients during sensitive times.

The challenge was to create a brand that communicated both authority and approachability, positioning Lau Legal as a trusted name in their field.

Handle Branding worked closely with the Lau Legal to understand their values and vision. We explored the balance between strength and human empathy, developing a timeless yet flexible identity system. Our process included crafting logo variations for brand recognition, utilising a typeface and typography system that spoke to their clients with credibility, and developed tagline options centred on their specialisation — “Wills. Trusts. Estates.” These elements came together to form a consistent and scalable identity designed to grow alongside the firm.
