Opening hearts & minds™

FAQs

  • What does Handle Branding do?

Handle Branding is a Sydney-based strategic branding and design agency. We create meaningful brand experiences through strategy, identity, digital, and storytelling. We help organisations connect with the people they serve—visually, emotionally and purposefully.

Where are you based and do you work nationally?

We’re based in Sydney, but we work across Australia and internationally. Our collaborative model allows us to work remotely and in-person, depending on your needs.

What kind of clients do you work with?

We work with a broad mix of sectors:

    • Government (local, state, federal)

    • Infrastructure (Western Sydney Airport)

    • Community & Cultural (ICE, Cumberland Council)

We work collaboratively and structure each project around your goals and stakeholders. A typical project includes:

    1. Discovery – Research, interviews, immersion into your organisation

    2. Strategy – Brand purpose, personality, positioning, audience

    3. Creative Concepts – Initial brand or campaign direction

    4. Feedback & Refinement – Iteration with your team/stakeholders

    5. Finalisation – Assets, guidelines, templates delivered

    6. Implementation Support – Optional ongoing rollout or retainer

Do you work with multiple stakeholders or boards?

Yes. We have extensive experience presenting to executives, government departments, boards and community leaders. We help manage approvals with transparency and clarity.

Can you help with just part of the process (e.g. identity only)?

Of course. We can enter at any stage—whether you're just looking for design rollout or you’re starting from zero and need full brand architecture and naming.

  • How long does a branding project take?

It depends on scope and responsiveness, but typically:

    • Full brand project: 8–14 weeks

    • Logo and identity only: 4–6 weeks

    • Campaign or rollout materials: 2–4 weeks

    • Express/urgent timelines: Available subject to availability

We provide clear schedules and deadlines at the start of every project.

Can you do urgent or fast-track work?

Yes. We often support urgent needs, particularly for health, government and internal campaign teams. Let us know your deadline and we’ll see what’s possible.

  • How do you price your services?

We tailor every quote based on:

    • Project complexity

    • Timeline

    • Scope of deliverables

    • Stakeholder and team involvement

    • Technical needs (e.g. signage, animation, rollout)

We don’t offer cookie-cutter packages—we’ll work with you to scope a solution that fits your objectives and budget.

    Do you offer fixed quotes?

    Yes, we typically offer:

    • Fixed project pricing

    • Itemised pricing menus (to add/remove modules)

    • Ongoing retainers for design support

    • Time-based pricing for advisory or reactive work

We’ll always provide a written proposal before work begins.

Do you accept Purchase Orders (POs)?

Yes. We’re familiar with PO-based workflows, especially with councils, health districts, and universities.

What are your standard payment terms?

    Our terms are:

    • 30 days from invoice (unless otherwise arranged)

    • Deposit upfront for larger projects or first-time engagements

    • We are flexible and happy to align with your procurement needs.

  • Can you help us implement or roll out the brand?

Yes—we don’t just hand over a logo. We support everything from:

    • Social media kits

    • Website graphics

    • Internal launch assets

    • Templates (Word, PowerPoint, Canva, etc.)

  • What if I don’t know what I need yet?

No worries. Many of our clients start unsure—we’ll help unpack the brief, clarify your goals, and build the right solution together.

Can you work alongside our existing internal team or agency?

Yes. We regularly collaborate with internal marketing teams, comms departments, and other consultants. We can plug into your existing ecosystem and bring additional capability and creativity to the table.

Do you offer branding for startups or small projects?
